It does depend greatly what your CC'n as to IF you can carry in an appendix position. I CC a CW9 but in a leather/kydex rig just infront of my hip bone. Handgun is carried as high as needed to set and drive in a Comp-Tac Minotuar Neutral. Easy on the skin, very flexable, narrow design and very adustable. Anyhpw what I or someone else likes my not work for you. trial and error is the only way to know for sure. Depending on your handgun check out there 2 O'Clock and Infidel holsters for just Kydex. For what its worth the leather backing helps to soft the edges again your body for front side carry.
I also ordered one of these, and have been wearing it for two weeks now. It is performing well, it is comfortable, it is priced right, much lower than many companies, and I had it in my hands about a week after I ordered it. They make one for a lot of brands and models of handguns including the Sig P290 with laser, very few other companies are making for that handgun yet. https://www.harwellholsters.com/products/clip-n-go-holster-appendix-carry
