I own the covert P9. Super Carry Gun. Ankle holster, tuck able, Iwb. All work fine. P9 has nights sights, they're rare and I've got one!

I think I'm going to order one next week after payday. Summer is coming and it looks like a good gun for summer carry.

I have pocket carried a taurus 85SS for 20 years and pf-9 2 1/2 and now a great little CM9. Fits most pocket well and not to small .Mine wear a desanti pocket holster and have zero complants. I cary 124gr +P and fires those with good control and accurate . can't think of any pistol that fits a pocket carry roll any better.

Well, I picked up my CM9 today. I bought it local for $392 out the door, so that's $369 for the gun.

I haven't shot it yet, but have cleaned it and did the 500 slide racks to help in break in. That has got to be the strongest recoil spring that I've come up against.

I will never again buy a used Kahr!!!! And I love love love Kahr. I have owned 5 Kahr pistols over the last few years and currently have 2. Every one of them awesome.

BUT

Kahr's warranty only covers the original owner, and even then for only 5 years. Compared to other US makers, that is a really crappy warranty. For the CM9's price, I would just go brand new and budget for a 200-round break-in period (extra $50?).

You got that right. That's why I mentioned in another thread that my wife can't even begin to cycle it. No matter what technique she uses. But that recoil spring is what softens the recoil, along with the low mounted barrel. I can fire hot defensive loads in it with no discomfort at all. I can't say that about some other pocket guns I've tried.

Yep, my PM9 seemed to have less felt recoil than my Glock 19. Right now I've got a PM45 (!!!) and it's felt recoil is less than or equal to a 1911 Commander.

Kahr's got it goin' on!
