Here in Florida you can't carry in the bar portion of a restaurant, but the rest of the restaurant is okay. The law basically says you can't carry into a place of business whose primary function is the sale of alcohol, or something like that.

I'm one more that has the permit, but seldom uses it. I work too much, and go places that do not let you carry, but the biggest problem is I still have not got a setup that I like. Hoping to get that fixed this winter, but as much time as I can't carry, it could be hard to get into the habit.

I am waiting on my chl to arrive in the mail but have a pistol in my vehicle when driving at safely placed around my house. After Lots of reading and learning it doesn't make sense for me to not be armed. I have an obligation to protect myself and my family if I ever need to at any time ...however 4 guys at my CHL class had their CHL only to make it easier it purchase guns. if you have Chl in Texas u do not have to have a background check each time you purchase a gun.

The first commandment in Masaad Ayoob's Ten Commandments of Concealed Carry.....

If You Carry, Always Carry

There are always places where you can't carry legally, but beyond that, if I'm walking, I'm carrying.
