I love the idea of guys pulling guns on their wives. This could be a wonderful exercise, and practice! Lol

How would I do?

No way of knowing until that moment. I'd probably freeze, panic, then fall, accidentally timing it perfect so that my attacker trips over my extended, rigor mortis like legs, falling on his own knife, plunging it through his throat and out the back of his neck, severing the spinal cord at its central nervous station.

Voila, I win!

We have played this out in a class I help with and we have come to the conclusion that a person can move 21 in under 3 seconds most of the time within 2 seconds . We stress , if you have any thoughts it may be an attacker, your hand had best be on your weapon before they even attempt to get closer . Shirt pulled up and hand on gun , you dont need to pull it unless you feel threatened but be in the ready . 90% of the time most people cant get this done from the non ready position without lots of practice . Practice , practice, practice . We even have them stand within 1-2 ft of the target and do a pull and shoot , no aim . The powder burns on the targets are pretty amazing

i mean, who in their right mind would reach for knife for protection if they were carrying a gun?

I carry both, Infact, 3 different Knives besides my gun, a faux MultiTool, a Self Activated folder, and a major double edge combat knife. I I trained with a few experienced guys,...

Lots of states ban the use and carry of knives much bigger than a very small pen knife. In wisconsin if you want to carry a knife with a blade bigger than 3 inches you need a ccw permit.

If you use a knife in self defense you may not be charged with killing or wounding the agressor but you will likely face weapons charges on the knife... stupid but its the way places like commifornia new york and texas do business. Especially if your in one of the big libtard cities.

In texas if your out in a rural county and forced to use a knife that your not supposed to be carrying your probably ok. If your in a liberal city like austin or dallas or sanantonio the da will probably apologize to the thug pardon him and put you in jail for the knife...

In wisconsin we have strong self defense laws but if I'm in madison the most I will do in defense of another is call the police. If I'm in burlington near where I live I'll try and save your life. Part of self defense or defense of another is knowing your situation. I have no desire to drug in front of a liberal court.

why? i do it all the time!

seriously though, i carry a knife everyday. i consider the knife i carry a tool, not a defensive item. if attacked, i will use whatever is at my disposal to defend myself with. even tools, rocks, sticks, or whatever i have or can get my hands on.

One man with one of these jewels can clear about a half acre of thick brush and pile it up in a day. I am not talking about some wiener who needs to take a 30 minute break every two hours. I am talking about a man who is willing to do a fair days work for a fair amount of pay. Most who are willing to give a fair days work can't be hired by the hour now days.
