there has been a LOT of threads started in this subforum that ignore the purpose of this subforum. we have been locking or deleting a lot of those posts the last few days hoping folks will read the reason Notdku started this subsection:

What does that include? A firearms that was used to prevent, help, assist, or otherwise benefit someone.
I think we all know that firearms in the media are only represented poorly and I would like to see this forum work as a counter to all those boogie men and anti 2nd agenda folks.
This is not a debate section.
this means this subsection is for stories relating to positive things people do with firearms. its not for what piers morgan said lately, its not for what diane feinstein is doing, its not for letting everyone know the latest NRA press release. its for people using firearms to defend themselves, police using firearms to defend themselves, people using firearms to basicly win.
if we remove a post its not because we automatically disagree with your post just that its in the wrong place. normally we move such things to the correct location but the sheer ammount of off topic postings here we decided to hopefully get the message across about the purpose of this subsection.
if you have news about legislation upcoming bans upcomming over turn of bans please use the legal and activisism or ccw or political subsections
i hope that explains it.
