Texas school answer to Sandy Hook
Texas superintendent of schools allows concealed handguns in school. Armed teachers and administrators - the last line of defense of our children.

No it won't. Because every time a Texas teacher stops a mass shooting, the scum media will ignore it or lie about it, like they always do.
But if one teacher has a nd, it will be sensationalized headline.
Scum media will never stop their lies until Americans are disarmed.

This is how I think it should be done! Just people at the local/state level deciding they what's best for them and their citizens given the situation at hand.

The odds of an active shooter attack at that school were kind of low before the policy was put into place. I would say that it was about equal to the odds of it happenig in the school my wife works at, and my step-daughter attends. That doesn't mean it can't happen though. They are both at the same school I attended when my parents and I moved up here from NC. In the 3 years that I attended that school, there were 2 incidents of a student bringing a gun to school. Luckily, they were both arested without incident, but given the school is locted in a village of less than 2,500 people that is still a scary thought.
If it was brought up as a vote for the district as to arm and train the teachers, I would vote for it, as would many of the parents in my district. My own feeling on it is, it takes the police 3 to 8 minutes to reach the school, and up to another 2 to 6 to reach the opposite end of the school in my town. How long would it take a teacher to pull their handgun, and stop the threat? Mere seconds. How many live would be lost while waiting on LEOs to respond? I honestl hope I never have to find out.
Thanks for posting this Robo, It is good to know that atleast one scholl has got the right idea.

Didn't they start allowing commercial pilots to have a pistol in the cockpit after 9/11? Makes sense. Seems logical for teachers too.

I love this idea, police are just responders they respond to something happening they don't usually prevent it. By arming teachers and staff and training them as soon as stuff hits the fan the person has opposition it's not like he has the 5 or 10 or whatever amount of time for the police to get there and make entry.

I had more than one teacher that was as crazy as a bed-bug. What will they do when an armed teacher kills kids?
