Pizza Deliveryman kills robber

This happened yesterday at the beach in East Coast Florida. Unfortunately, as the guy is a Domino's deliveryman, and they have a no firearms in the car policy, he will probably lose his job. Which is better then losing his life, but still sucks.

Another corporation listening to the attorneys.

Hey man, nice shot!

I don't see how Dominos can say no guns in the cars when they don't own them, the driver's use there own cars. Now if Dominos owned their own cars it would be a different story.
I think it's great that more people are not going to be the victim. And taking back their city's .

Aren't these the same guys that showed up with my $25 order and told me they only carry $2 change when I handed them 2 $20 bills? I told them to keep the pizzas.
That crap is just heartburn in a box anyway.

Domino's prefers dead employees to dead criminals. Least dominos doesn't make it vague that they support robbery and murder. Their corporate policy makes it crystal clear they prefer to see their employees murdered.

My senior year HS I delivered/prepped for Dominoes. Bad area of Greensboro a guy walked up to my car at a light, stuck a gun in the open sunroof, and he ate pizza that night!

Another time I returned from deliveries to find....eventually....everyone huddled in the prep cooler as they had been robbed in my absence....

I know about the extra anchovies...

And no, I don't want any!

Thanks, Trip. I thought I was the only one.

Keep the anchovies. I only use them in caeser salad dressing.

Domino's is like most any corporation that has people out with their sign on their conveyance. Regardless of who owns it. Their attorneys have told them that if Danny Driver returns fire while on a delivery of their product, and perchance during that exchange a non involved citizen takes a bullet, Dominos has the deep pockets, and thus will be paying up. Not Danny Driver, not the Perp.

Therefore as a "wages. hours and working conditions" thing, you have to agree not to have a firearm in your car to work for them. They will happily tell you to give up the pizza and cash. They do not address whether the perp has more then larceny in his heart, and wants a victim.

I would make the decision to carry, and assume the job is toast if there are any incidents. My guess is that is what this guy was doing. I am certain he will be fired.
