Always wanted to go to Italy. Lived in Madrid for a bit, traveled all over Western Europe, but never made it to Italy. Glad to see you on here, we have some Brits, you might be the first from Italy.

Italy. We have some pretty crazy gun control laws here too. Guess what? The Mafias have all the AKs (full auto) they want.
At least for now we can have nice semiautos (but ARs come at outrageous prices). If USA were to pass a ban on them I think it wouldn't take many years before our own politicians decide to take them away from us. I mean, it's not like we don't have a democracy erosion problem and some very though socioeconomic decisions comin....

Kind regards

Spent 4 years in Vicenza Italy with the 509th Abn and enjoyed every minute of Italy.
Actually got to play a season with the Milano Rhino's and got paid for it.
Hopefully you will be able to continue to enjoy the semi's.

Oh, I must behave then!
Actually I feel more European than Italian. Travelled a lot. Can understand most Spanish and French. Studied a bit of German ... and most of the time I even think in English... but when it comes to food & wine am Italian down to the core!

I don't exactly know what the Rhinos are (rugby? football?) but the 509th is well known. Glad you had a nice stay!

Sorry for the OT guys...

When is a vote expected on the De Gette - McCarthy magazine ban? Am not familiar with US Congress pocedures. Over here a proposition like that can be carried out at full speed or let hybernate forever before the parliament discusses it, the parties interests being the deciding factor.

Kind regards
