Default No Charges against shooter of attack dog

A man who rescued a boy from a pit bull attack with his unregistered gun will not be criminally charged.

He should have rolled the dice on a jury trial.

So its illegal to have unregistered ammunition (a consumable), and just to own the dogs?

Don't get me wrong, the only pits I've ever met have been the sweetest dogs ever. I just have no use for them, meaning, really, I'm not a suitable owner for one.

He should not face charges, in alot of states this is called a "temporary deputy" or something to that effect, where basically you are permitted to do anything within your means to save someone even if it breaks laws.

A good guy with an unregistered gun, just goes to prove, register bad people not the gun ownership with legalities, the guy deserves a Citizen Medal.

Good on the man for shooting the dog. Shame on the political criminals who run the District of Columbia.
