That's a good start, IMO. Their government is reportedly very corrupt at the local and higher levels. Viva La Revolucion!

note to self: Stay the hell out of mexico.

Maybe they could train people to "immigrate" to Chicago, DC, NYC, and LA?

Ruger22lr 03-28-2013 11:48 PM

Yeah and know what? They did it with old pump action shotguns and hunting rifles.

Actually... it's one step above chaos. The vigilantes have fired on innocent civilians who got scared (probably because they thought they were cartel) and ran their roadblocks.... I'm all for power to the people, but without clear identification of who they are and what they stand for... it's just anarchy.
....and some pockets of our country are not far from this either.

I have been to Mexico several times and if you don't stay out of the better areas you will get at the very least robbed. The last time my parents went (none of us go anymore because the drug war is getting so bad) they were pulled over by federalies holding m16 as my dad described they stole all there jewelry ard then said have a nice day and left.

I'm not sure how much worse anarchy is than "normal" in some of those border/cartel towns. I mean, which is worse a town run by the cartel or warring factions thereof or a town run by PO'd vigilante-type people. Me, i'd vote for PO'd vigilante-type locals with no skin in the game but their own.

Sending "foreign aid" is sooooo much more convenient.
