Although the home owner may not have charges filed in a Criminal Court, there is still the possible situation of Civil Court.

"Yep, I know my boy was up to no good, but here is my chance to get millions from that homeowner. Besides, he must have something, else my son wouldn't have tried to break in!"

I'm pretty sure Florida law protects homeowners from civil suits in cases of castle doctrine.

Never happen in OK. State law precludes civil lawsuits by the family of the late scumbag home invader.

An old OK county sheriff i knew called stuff like this "the worst case of suicide i ever saw". He used that term when i inquired about the killing of four cattle rustlers by an Okie rancher.

He was halfway in the window?Reminds me of my late grandfather's advice,"if they land outside of your doorstep when you shoot them, make sure to pull them all the way back inside after".

Bad advice. You are disturbing a "crime" scene. That does not look good for you at all.

You're absolutely right, and don't think for a minute they won't know you disturbed it.

The better way is to drag them inside first, then shoot them. That way all the body parts and blood will be inside the house.

Yep. New carpet and fresh paint on the walls after "Forensics" gathers that what is jokingly referred to as "evidence".

He probably earned it in prison. It was probably that or "Monica."

Really? Was he really? Seems to me if that were true he wouldn't be crawling through some guys window. Just a thought.
Didja ever notice: They're always right on the edge of becoming a standup guy and a pillar of the community, and then they manage to get killed being a dumb-ass.
Interesting. The news coverage had family pictures of the guy, but nothing taken during one of his visits to the Greybar Hotel.
