^^^^^^^
The difference between US and him?

He feels he's entitled to everything.

We don't even feel he's worthy of a fair

trial, and prison food, clothing, and lodging.

Probation and parole really ought to be highly

dependent upon learning hi-value job skills, so

folks like this don't become even a worse waste

of life while incarcerated. I've had hamsters which

left a better social footprint than this guy.

My wife and I were actually talking about, just the other day, how stupid someone would have to be to try to rob a gunstore.

The question that came to my mind: if the store owner had shot him, would it have been justified? The gun was unloaded because it came from the display case...or was it? Did he grab that gun because he had a loaded magazine for it? Did he drop the baseball bat to pick up the gun? Was the knife ever in play or did the police find it on him later?

I hate it when journalists don't answer all the details!

If the store owner or an employee had shot him, they would have become the next George Zimmerman. It is now illegal, immoral, and unreasonable for a "white" man to defend himself against a "black" man.
This is not to say that I am a black people basher, much to the contrary. But our racist POTUS and AG are doing everything they can to make it OK for a black man to victimize everybody else.

I wondered the same thing. I was once told by two gentlemen at a gun show - one a seller and one an off duty officer - about the officer at one time having to escort an individual off the premises because he had dropped a loaded 1911 magazine just after getting stamped at the door.

Possible? Yes. Probable? I don't know. I take these stories with a grain of salt. Logic (if there could be such a thing in a scenario such as this) would say that the only way a person would attempt a robbery of a gun store without a gun is if they planned on grabbing and loading one upon entering the shop.

Since he's obviously not a rocket scientist, he probably expected the store employees to be unarmed sheeple. And maybe he thought that all guns come loaded from the factory. A learning experience for him, I guess.

In the words of Ron White, "You can't fix stupid."

What a dumbazz. This one ranks right up there with the guy who tried to rob a local KFC a few years ago. He did it from the drive through window in his mom's car............

At the same KFC his mother manages! On a night that she was working no less. Pure, unadulterated stupid.

The store owner did exactly the right thing. You only kill a man if you have no other options.
