A lot of states have followed some of our laws and methods on this. I think we have a pretty good model, but it could be better. It will come one day. Yesterdays announcement will certainly help.
That is great for Florida. I do have one other question: Are they counting the deceased in that total?

FH, I don't know about the deceased, but I do know that they were not giving out cigarettes to people trying to get their CWP.

When I think about this, it makes me glad to be in a state that recognizes its citizens as level-headed adults.

Yep. Out of staters were counted too. Thanks for sharing this Doc. I think that NY and IL could learn something from this. They probably won't though. The liberal brain is not wired to recognize the truth for the most part. Just look at the quotes from the state representative in the article.

No, the only time they count the deceased is at the ballot box in November.

Thank you . As I am one of those armed floridian non-victims. So far I've never had to use my CCW and with any luck I never will. But It sure feels great to live in a state that allows me to be prepared in case I ever do . :sorry: NYC , NJ , CA

The demographic was interesting; the majority of permits are issued to white men between the age of 53 and 67. Lesson here, dont **** with old men in Florida. A lot of us live in Willkillya County.

Lets add the fact that MANY MANY of these citizens are transplants from liberal unfriendly carry states like NY / N J who now can exercise their right to defend themselves if given the choice to do so, for them, it must be a nice change

A little geography lesson. Chicago is not in Florida. <grin>

Of course, 200K are issued to seniors, so the jury is still out on your question.
