Mayor Bloomberg's ban on guns did not prevent this from happening, why is everyone so quick to blame the NRA for situations like this? It makes my blood BOIL!
Safest city in the nation?? REALLY?!?! Talk about "spin"!

Flat out lies makes MY blood boil!

Chitcago is one of the most violent cities in the WORLD...proving gun control works.

Yanno if it was I returning fire, and hit a bystander, i would be in prison...any bets these cops get medals and raises?

Article said 8 total in gun as I read it. Good point about hit more than one person. My point was that the Mayor who in the past has falsely blamed the tea party for terrorist acts is saying "may have" in. this case. My post wasn't so much about the police as it was about the Mayor.

I'm kinda wondering if this "women's accessories designer" hit anyone but the original victim. He pulled his gun from a bag (purse?) when he saw the cops, he always wore suits. How much time do you suppose he actually spent practicing with this gun and where did he get it...

In Bloomberg's mind, NYC is the only city in his world, so that makes it the safest. Also the most dangerous, but he'd never notice that.

Maybe he wants NYC to secede and become part of the UK. It'd fit right in. Maybe the queen would come and visit, and "service" him once a week.
Makes my blood boil, too.

Someone said the perp's gun held 10 rounds...

2 dead, perp and his former boss...

between 4 and 10 wounded in crossfire with police...

Maybee the perp used 1 round on his boss and got off a "magic" bullet to wound 2 of the 10 victims with a single round? Is the math right?

If it's trully 10 wounded I'm guessing balistics will leave some of New Yorks finest feel a bit like Lucy Ricardo...

...Oh Luuuucy...you got some smplainin to dooooo.

Sorta hope it plays out this way...

Another Good Argument for CCW...Shoot the bad guy before the Key Stone cops show up and shoot you both!

I was just pointing out there are a few more options, no big deal.

I think there might be more truth in there than you think.

I hope they check the slugs from the shooting and match them up with the guns, but I'd be much surprised if they do. The dead guy will be blamed for all the injuries.
