A young man was alone his grandmother's home when two burglars broke in. He killed one burglar, the other is in critical condition at a local hospital. The home had been burglarized about one month ago. The truck found at the scene matches the description of the vehicle observed at the scene of an earlier burglary.
Consequences are a bitch.
Waiting for relatives who will say the late perp was a real standup guy and fine role model.
One suspect was taken by ambulance to San Jacinto Hospital where he died. Investigators described him as a 40-year-old man who is a suspect in several other burglaries. The second suspect got away from the scene and somehow got to a hospital where he was arrested. At last check he was listed in critical condition at Memorial Hermann.
A neighbor tells FOX 26 that the 18 year old lives in the home by himself and he was a victim of a home burglary a month ago. The man's father told Fox 26 anchor Chris Stipes that he bought him that shotgun 2 weeks ago for protection after the first burglary.
Baytown police say there was another burglary last night in Baytown and the suspects vehicle found at the scene matches the vehicle description of the first burglary.
you all forgot to mention he was probably robbing places to feed starving children, you got to figure if he was robbing places at that age he's probably been at it for a while now I mean 40 years old and robbing peoples home people just don't take up robbing one day thinking it's a good career move they've usually have done it before.

You can bet on that. Wonder what kind of arrest record he has? One news source said the police had been looking for one specific burglar wanted for a number of robberies.
Ths late perp in this case had his wife along:
Fearing for his safety, the teen fired several shots at the two men. One of the men, later identified by Baytown police as Charles Allen Dixon III, 40, fell to the floor and died at the scene, authorities said.
The other man, Michael McDaniel, 26, ran back outside and fled, Baytown police said.
McDaniel called a woman who drove him to San Jacinto Hospital to be treated for gunshot wounds. Also in the pickup truck was Dixon's wife, Baytown police said.
McDaniel was flown by Life Flight helicopter to Memorial Hermann Hospital in critical condition.
Police said charges were still pending against him for his role in the home invasion burglary.
The teen, who is not facing charges in the shooting, is staying at the home because his grandmother - the owner - is in a nursing home.
The burglary was the second such incident at the home this month, Baytown police said.
