Isn't it strange, how Veterans almost unilaterally
support the Constitution and BOR they sacrificed
time, blood, and limbs to protect...

The effed up thing is, in the back of my mind,
as I left the service, I was thinking "yeah, we're
all OK, now, right? Did my part, now the butcher's
bill is paid for my lifetime, and our way of life is safe..."

You may have left the service, but the service will never leave you. You will continue to do your part. It will just be from behind the scenes.

The "Butchers Bill" will be paid when we make that final PCS.
