Every once in a while a good-guy gets recognized as such. Those dirtbags were likely doing other houses in the neighborhood, too.

Well, let's see mainstream media pick this story up and run with it nationally. :)

I couldn't agree with this statement more.

I have seen this on another site and it said they have been stealing from him for awhile. They've stolen guns, money and cattle from him. There some real tough guys stealing from a 92 year old.

Too bad he can't plant some IED's around his yard.

While this story is tragic on one aspect, it is a victory on the other. Lesson to be learned here, "if you are just getting your life turned around and are a good person at heart" then stay out of other peoples houses uninvited looking for free stuff because we ALL know nothing is free. Someone somewhere has to pay for it, it just cost the BG more than he thought it would.

One shot one kill, no need for a double tap here.

mountainman13 09-04-2012 02:23 PM

I seem to have missed the tragic part. It's regrettable that the old man has to live with taking a life but someone committing a b&e isn't turning their life around. 1 less criminal we have to pay for is no tragedy.

Hard to argue with that.
