There is no gun in the world that I would spend that much on.

i agree. i wouldn't probably even if i could afford to spend it.

but there are people who will spend that kind of money on shotguns and rifles. personally, i think for some, it more of a status symbol, like having a trophy wife and a Rolls Royce in the garage!

DING! DING! DING! DING! We Have a Winnah!

I ask the lovely MzGrnMnM what our contestant has won?

She took a pic of the price tag and description. Hopefully she will post that here soon.

There is a guy who my boys and I occasionally shoot with who shoots a Perazzi. We shoot some much less expensive guns (a Mossberg, a Winchester and a Remington) and this guy with the Perazzi has problems without fail (meaning it fails all the time). He will have to step out of a session to mes with his freaking $30K shotgun and have to fix it. And then he bitches at us when we chat or comment on each other's shots or what have you. Mind you this is on a private range on a day when they are closed to the public and we are there for fun.

Then he gets in his Ferrari and goes home.

Agreed. Usually they are elitist types, "my gun must be nicer than yours because it costs more than your house"

They probably never even get shot.

I had to change hotels for the night (rather than hitting the road as soon as I got out of the show) and the connectivity here sucks and my Verizon connection is worse. Still have a lot of stuff to post- both audio and video. Lots more to come from our experience.

Yes, there are many, many multi-millionaires in CA. I know quite a few (some of them are my childhood buddies) and this guy is definitely well monied. I don't know what his fortune consists of, but he is not among those whom I would call friends.
