Anybody tried the Tipton carbon fiber gun cleaning rods?

Bump again in the morning. I've never used them, but I've heard good reviews. I'm SURE someone here has actually used them.

They are pretty good......just don't do anything w one requiring quite abit of force. You'll end up w a face full of splinters........learned that one the hard way

Was it the carbon fiber that you used? The only reason I ask is everyone says how strong they are and the fact that its better to use than brass or steel.

Yes it was. By ALOT of pressure I mean trying to get copper fouling out that was so bad I couldn't see the lands of the rifling
