Noble pump binding
First I am a new member from MI and have been enjoying this forum.

I have a noble 65j pump action shotgun that I have had forever. When you are working the action the action wants to bind a little when the action is probably 3/4 of the way back. This binding is not enough to cause the gun to stop working just enough that you have to use some muscle to open and close it all the way. I think the action is catching on the grove that the guide rides in. Does anyone have any idea how I might fix this? Oil is not enough to fix it just makes it easier to slide past that spot. If pictures or a video would help let me know.

Your best bet is go to YouTube. There you'll find dozens of how toos on basic take down, inspection, cleaning all the way to modifications.Just type in the Model of your Gun, has a stickie slide. You'll be amazed on what you find. Good luck getting the old Shooter fixed.

With the exploded drawings at least you will be able to identify the parts you have left over :p

Use lithium automotive grease on the action bar. It will make all the difference in the world.

Is lubricant really the best option? Seems like a brand aid fix.

Moving parts require lubrication.
Nobles were not the best quality guns made. The single action bar can bind. Proper lubrication helps greatly.
There could be something else wrong with your gun, but lubing it properly to see if it works should be the first step.
