I just purchased two carbon fiber one piece cleaning rods. Man that is the way to go. I still have a three piece aluminum rod for the field. I use Hoppes #9 for solvent cuz it keeps my hands so nice and soft. I guess I m a bit different than most because I use Rem oil for lubricant. I like it out of the spray can. With my M4gery, I just pop out the bcg, spray it down, spray a tad in the upper along the sides, and shoot like a crazy man.
