Mine was labelled for both .22 and 5.56

The diameter of .223/5.56 is just barely off from 22lr. If you do find one labeled for .223/5.56, the only difference will be the label.

Like ScottA said, its just the label. The boresnake i got for my 7.62x39 (.308) works for .30-30, .30-06, .300, .303 and of course .308. As long as your not runnin it through anything larger (or smaller) than 0.01" of what its mean for, you should be fine! Hope that helps!
