I plan on doing the same. I'll be paying attention to the heat part the second time around!

Yeah, and a herd cheaper, too.

You're either in the "It must be my lucky

day, this 2 ounces of solvent only cost me

20 $ " stage, or maybe you're independently

wealthy ...

I clean with Hoppe's then oil with Rem Oil then put a small amount of Tetra Gun Grease on the slides. My guns work fine.

I just started cleaning with Mpro-7. Not sure if I like it or not on my sp2022. A lot of spots where a brush won't get into as well as q-tips. I guess I figured after letting it soak for a few the gunk would wash away. Especially at $35 a bottle. I have been running factory reloads and other cheap ammo though. That might also be part of the problem. Just a guess.

I just started using it on a couple of guns....haven't fired either yet. Other shooters I have talked to swear by it....hopefully I won't be swearing at it. Next time I go to the range I'll report my findings. But I still use Rem-oil on most of the small moving parts, I limit the grease to the slides, barrel contact areas, and other metal to metal areas.

in a word, yes. Kano Kroil for a general cleaner and bore solvent. then i use Lucas Synthetic gun oil.

the newer Hoppe's #9 isn't the same formula as the older product. doesn't even have the same smell i use to like.
