another place to find a gunsmith in your area is your LGS. lots of times if they don't have one on the premises, they know one in the area the either use or refer people to.

There are two; one general hunting supplys and a pawn shop, excluding walmart/canadian tire. The pawn shop website says "servicing", so I'm going to give them a call.

One other means of locating a gunsmith- check with the law enforcement folks, and see who their agency uses to work on their guns. VERY large agencies may have their own armorer, most do not.

One with no name MAY be a military rifle- post a photo here.

For your Marlin, here is the owner's manual-

For the 870. manual is HERE: http://www.remington.com/pages/news-and-resources/downloads/owners-manuals.aspx

I will. I went to picture it, and the camera batteries died lol

I DID figure out that the bolt is fine. There is a level on the left which locks it or is a guard. There was a clip somewhere but I can't find it anymore. I'm kind of glad though I don't have to have it serviced..

GR / bs ag2
sht LE 3 / KG2803

But here are the photo's, they should help.
It looks like lithgow or enfield (just by my google search) 303.. But someone must have put it into a newer stock on it? I do know there was a previous owner.
