Why Shoot An M&P?

Not trying to start a war but as a shooter of Glocks and M&Ps I thought it was interesting to see the pros and cons of both.

I found this article over at M4C.

I bought a Glock because it fits my hand well, then I held an M&P, it fits better.:(

I prefer the Glock trigger safety though, haven't fired the M&P to see which trigger I like better.

Really? I have never heard that before. I shoot w/ a "Glock guy" and even he prefers the M&P trigger. Have you tried a M&P w/ Apex Forward Set Sear /Trigger Kit? 1911-ish. Very nice.

I was really vague, I meant the trigger safety. Never cared for the Sigma style safety.

I would like to get my hands on one at a range, but I'm afraid I'll buy one if I do.

The question still stands. Why?

I guess I'm just not used to it, I've shot my Glock quite a bit mote than dads Sigma. I'm sure it would be alright after i got used to it.

It took me 17 rounds to get used to mine

I have two M&P's...a compact .40 and a full size .45. I must say I prefer the trigger on my Glocks over the M&P...the reset on the M&P just feels weak, almost non-existent to me.

I have a 2012 MP9 FS, all stock internals. Trigger is fine...it breaks a hair heavier than a Glock with 5.5 connector (clean/crisp). Ergonomics are fantastic and it's a very soft shooter. It lacks severely in the accuracy department in comparison to my Glocks (19's) which is a big disappointment. I sure wish it shot as good as it feels. Don't get me wrong, it will group and would probably be satisfactory for a lot of people, but I know it is not hitting consistently... exactly where it's being pointed. I have a new barrel so we'll see how it does this weekend.
