Default Very little love for the M&P45?

Looking around at my dealer and I spot a M&P45 for a pretty good price.($540). I came here to find some reviews and observations. Go back several pages and little info. Are these just not popular? Don't know what I'd do with it besides being a range toy but all of my .45s are currently 1911s.

What is everyone's opinion of this gun? Basically I have an itch and there are several handguns/rifles I could make a case for.

Do it!! The M&P 45 is awesome. I have yet to actually BUY one, but I have a lot of experience with them. I love it. The FDE duo-tone is in my "next 5" list.

Good guns. At that price its definitely worth picking up. .45 ammo is kinda pricey right now so, some folks aren't buying. In my area the M&P pistols run a bit north of that price, and the M&P .45 runs a bit more than the 9 and .40.

The 45 must be a lot more than a 9mm. I can get a 9mm pro M&P with a 5" barrel for around $550.

Here is a price on the 45 acp

I can usually find better prices than buds. buds is just easy to quote.

Could I put the M&P together for a Limited gun in USPSA? I run a SA XDM9 5.25" for production.

If I go with the M&P the I have enough left in the budget for a Baikal 12 gauge coach gun. There are other options but the M&P is about my top current pick of what's in stock.

You will not regret the M&P.

I've only felt them in shops, no experience with them. To me they just felt weird and I didn't like the trigger reset at all. I can't speak too much about it because I don't have range experience with them.

Just bought one with the 4" barrel. The trigger could use some help but I think you can get used to it. Hope you enjoy it.
