Default Take down lever?

I was cleaning my M&P and returning the slide to the frame, and as I pushed it rearward, the take down lever popped back up automatically. The manual says to push it up manually. Has anyone else had this occur? Is it ok for this to happen? Thanks.

Happens quite often for me. The faster the slide is slid to the rear the greater the chances of occurrence. >no biggie<
