Default Manual safety needed please

I have a 9 full size without the manual safety. I have an apex trigger on the way, and I am teaching my wife to shoot. Id like to have the added safety on the range and in the home. I can't find the manual safety on s&w website, but I got to thinking I know plenty of people buy them with safety's only to take them out. What are my chances of finding someone who has pulled theirs out and buying from them? Any compatibility issues?

Or if anyone knows were I could buy one from cheaper than retain that would be nice, thank you.

You will need to cut your frame for it to fit. Don't know about compatibility with the other fire control parts if you's didn't come with a safety. May just want to buy one with the safety installed. And sell yours that is without the safety.

Might be simpler, cheaper and safer to sell what you have a buy what you want. Start by calling s&w and ask if one can be fit buy them and go from there.

Why not find a local firearms forum & propose a trade with someone looking to obtain a safety-less M&P9? May or may not be poss.
