I am really wanting to get an m&p9c. I heard someone say that the ejectors don't work well with lighter rounds...124 grain. Does anyone have a problem with the shells ejecting into their face? I don't want to buy and then regret it after i start shooting it. Also, i heard that you can break the firing pin if you dry fire it. Is that true? Just want to hear pros and cons to make up my mind. If it is only the lemons that have those problems i will risk it, but not if they all have problem ejecting. Please let me know.

I picked one up because the price was soo right. Brought it home and ran 50 rounds thru it after a quick swab and dawb. It ran pretty good from the start, threw brass everywhere. After about 100 more rounds and a good cleaning it was spot on and the brass was going to the 4:00 like it should.

The only problem I have had since was the inside of the slide was nicking the barrel and starting to raise a burr on the barrel. I sent it back to S&W since it was so new and they replaced the slide and barrel as well as the ejector if I am not mistaken, even thou ejecting was not an issue. Now my daughter carries it daily, she just ordered a spring kit for it and two extra mags so I feel she is going to keep it a while longer.

So, i went and bought the m&p9c. No ejection problems....just a few ftf. I think the flat grip mag is a little stiff. The one with the pinky grip is shooting fine. Anyone else have that problem with the new gun? Do i just need to break it in more? Or should i see if they will replace the mags for me?

I would run at least 500 rounds thru it before I made any decisions.
