Can you convert an M&P .40 into .357 sig and 9mm quickly and easily like you can a glock 22 or 23?

I dont know but I would like to know as well. Looking into a .40 but converting into a 9 for range savings is a nice thought.

After doing some searches it appears you can. I am posting from my phone so I'm not sure how to post links. I did a general search of .40 to 9 mm & found some hits.

to convert from a.40 to 9 mm you will need new mags in 9mm for reliability and a new barrel.. thats it.. if you can find a stock M&P 9mm barrel that will work as the outside diameter of the forty and nine are the same, the bore size is just different, if not a good barrel from storm lake will work as well.

YES!!!!

I have a M&P .40 Full size. The Magazines fit .40S&W and .357SIG. I bought a barrel from S&W for 75.00. It drops directly in, and uses the same recoil spring. Two guns in one

You could also look at aftermarket barrels from Storm Lake. They come in stainless, can be ported, or threaded, depending on your application.

I just bought me a m&p 45. can it be converted to a 9 as easily as a .40?

I believe the .45 has a slightly larger frame than the 9mm, .40S&W, .357SIG variants. The head diameter would also be a big change in that case. I do not think it can be converted as easily... but thats not to say it totally cannot be done. The 9mm, .40S&W, .357SIG variants are easily interchangable.
