Default Looking for good M&P holster.

I'd like to hear some recommendations for a holster for a full size M&P .40.

Been eyeing the Galco Cop slide, the Galco COP 3 slot, and DeSantis thumb break scabbard.

Looking for a OWB carry holster that will offer some cant and ride close and a bit high.

This is what I have-

BLACKHAWK! Serpa CQC Gun Metal Grey Sportster Holster by BLACK HAWK INC. http://www.amazon.com/dp/B000ZDQCIQ/ref=cm_sw_r_udp_awd_vlartb02KV9XW

I like that it is locked in, but easy to retrieve.

Im not a fan of SERPA holsters for striker fired guns. seems like there could be problems with a retention mechanism close to a trigger. FLETC banned SERPA use at their training facility due to Glocks getting fired while holstering.

N82 for sure. Most comfortable holster on market. Won't regret it

The Balckhawk Serpa paddle holsters are very secure OWB by design...they are almost difficult to get off. They offer adjustable cant as well.....but in my opinion they dont hold the gun close as you would like, by your statement. Personally I like the way it holds the gun because it gives you a bit easier time when reaching for the grip since it's not tight against the body. That being said, I just got mine for my J frame and still getting used to it. My first impression is quite good.

^^ Blackhawks have has NUMEROUS issues over the years. A number of ranges won't let you use one while at their facility.

This is the second claim of this without proof... Where is the proof?

Exactly....I'd like to know as well. I carefully examined the holster and there is no conceivable way it can cause an AD unless the holster and gun are mis-matched. And mis-matched can very well include a gun which had a trigger job and the trigger is now indexed differently than when stock.
