Hi everyone am glad to join the M&P family. I recently purchased a m&p .40 I took it to the range two days ago. I shot 100 rounds without any misfire love the gun but, I would like to know what's the best bore brush should I get. I bought brass metal brush is that safe for cleaning the barrel.

007,

That is great! You should use a brass bruch or one of the new stiff nylon brushes! *Never Stainless! I prefer the brass. As far as cleaning the brass brush when it gets dirty I use CRC *Non-Flamable Brake and parts cleaner. They make both types flamable and non-flamable! But do not get it under your rings, watches on your skin. If you do wash it emediatley. Or best to wear chemical resistant gloves. I just spray the brush with it and the grime runs off. I then rinse it off with hot tap water and let it dry.
