APEX Sear issue MP40c

So I get a call from the Smith to tell my APEX kit is installed, but the sear did not function when the gun was reassembled. So he left all the new parts in and reinstalled the old sear. I am p!$$ed! Called APEX & they said that should not happen. So now my Smith is going to hook up with their tech on the phone. Anybody had any issues with the APEX sear or is my Smith just incompetent?

Danolator,

Has your gunsmith heard back from us yet?

If not, please email me at scott@apextactical.com and I'll give him a call as soon as possible.

Thanks

Scott @ Apex

Sent you an email. No, I called APEX and the Smith today. 48 hours and nothing so far.

OK. It appears opening the loop on the trigger bar is the key to make the APEX sears work properly with the newer M&P guns. I'll find out when I finally pick up my gun this Wed. Many thanks to Scott @ APEX. He has gone way past the extra mile making sure my gunsmith got all his questions answered directly.

Wrap up report. Got the gun back and it works pretty well but I'll probably spread the loop just a tad more. Overall, this is a far better mechanism. After three mags, I was consistently on center target at various distances. Thanks to APEX for all the help. No thanks to Bullseye and their incompetent gunsmith.
