To Apex or not to Apex

considering upgrading my M&P .45 with the apex line of parts to include the apex duty trigger and extractor, possibly the R.A.M if it works. Anyone have the experiance with them and how much of an improvement in both feel and accuracy?

Love the products. Had some kite primer strikes. I put my factory striker spring back no problems. Got 2 with compention kits 1 with the duty carry.

were any of you getting failure to feed issues and did you install the failure resistant extractor also does the R.A.M. work on the .45

Ordered the duty/carry kit today looking forward to installing it and seeing what this baby can really do. Any other suggested parts to change out while I'll have it apart?

Ok got everything in and sat down to do the install. Started by checking factory pull. The pull, after roughly 3-4000 rounds through it, was between 6.5 lbs and 7.5 lbs average of ten pulls was 7lbs 3 oz. Started with the hard sear. Pretty easy to install took about 15 minutes with clean time (after all what's the point of going that far in without doing a thorough cleaning). Trigger pull after just the hard sear, 5lbs 7oz. Next went after the USB upgrade. Again not at all difficult to do about 10 minutes to install. Pull after the USB and sear, 4lbs 4oz! Man what a difference. I haven't installed the trigger spring as of yet, I think I'll run some rounds through it with the factory spring installed and see how I like it. And don't worry this isn't a carry piece if it becomes I'll try the kit's spring and take it back up. Along with the DCAEK, I also installed the Failure Resistant Extractor. Also a breeze to install about 5-7 minutes. I am looking forward to taking this thing out and giving it a shot. I'll post my reactions afterwards. Right now I'm pretty happy with the parts, the ease of install and dry results. Definitely gnawing at the bit to get it out.
