Local ranges

Hey everyone. I'm active duty military so I'm only home a couple weeks a year.
I'm looking for an open range. No membership or at least a simple flexible one. I bring my own gear and everything. Looking for a range that has pistol and rifle (200 yds+) I'm near Madison area. I will travel if needed

We have members that shoot at McMiller Shooting Sports southwest of Milwaukee in Eagle, WI. http://www.mcmillershootingcenter.com/

Twin City Rod & Gun west of Appleton has ranges from 7 to 300 yards, can purchase a day pass or annual membership.

Town of Shiocton has a public range out to 500 yards, even allows full auto if you have access to such.

Sorry, I don't know anything closer to Madison.

There is the range at Yellowstone State Park, southwest of Madison not far from Blanchardville. Under an hour to get there from Madison. No cost.

There is a 100 / 200 yard range, plus a pistol range (25 / 50 yards.)

From Madison take 18/151 west. Near Mount Horeb, take Highway 78 exit and go south to Blanchardville. As you pass through Blanchardville, Main St. ends at the intersection with School Street. Turn right on W. School St. (The name changes to Darlington Road eventually. After several miles, there is a hard right turn (it should be marked with signs to Yellowstone) onto Paulson Road. Ignore the park entrance road (N Lake Rd) and continue past it. A mile or so past N Lake Rd the shooting range will be on your left. (You will be on County Rd F)
