over the years removed a limestone mountain and provided ballast
for railroad bed construction.....I had Uncles who worked there, way back....
don't think it is there now......I remember their homes and the "company store" where their purchases were with company script.

I hauled shot rock from Snowflake for Boxley to the new bridge cross the Greenbrier above Hinton.

Here's where I grew up....just East of Ronceverte above the Greenbrier River.....home was burned down but you can see a mobile home and the old barn.....the house was between them......you can zoom out and scroll to the left to see Ronceverte and the river....

Yes, actually adjoining Teaberry Road (State Rte. 45) which runs between Ronceverte and Lewisburg.
We refer to it as the "backroad" and it kinda' runs along the Greenbrier River, where there are a couple roads that run down to the railroad/river. We grew up fishing and swimming the Greenbrier...... Thanks for asking.
