I live in Utah now, but I lived in Washington for a while. I'd love to get back around Shelton somewhere. Or Port Ludlow... That may be the most beautiful place on earth IMHO....

It's south of Tacoma. Lakewood area. JBLM - joint base Lewis Mcchord. Military base.

Love Shelton, spent the major summer holidays up there. It is beautiful. My buddies parents had a house on top of the hill just past the model T tavern.

When I lived on the wet side there was no "Joint Base", just the two. But that was some time ago...

Yes, it used to. Apparently it's a combined base. I'm just a truck driver, so what do I know.
