Default Orwellian: Proposed Gun Law in Washington State

I guess we were wrong for a change… We thought they would take the Second Amendment before they went for the others. I wonder what they will do when faced with armed resistance for trying to perform illegal searches with out a legal warrant.

The country doesnt have the stomach to inflict a lot of losses even when engaged in military action overseas.

For domestic, Even in the worst case if LEOs all go along (which is by no means certain) what do you think will happen once law enforcement starts killing people by the hundreds to confiscate our guns?

They will not have the stomach for the losses they will inflict nor for the (admittedly much fewer) losses they will take.

The powers that be will face unintended consequences.

Update 2/19/2013: The Home search provision has been removed from the pending bill, but only after media coverage prompted a hail of protests.
At least they didn't have to wait to pass the bill to find out what was in it.
It wasn't even a very long bill, I believe something like 8 pages. God help us. Kind of like what Pelosi said, "We have to pass it to see what is in it", Sorry, but I just can't trust them that much.

What surprises me, is that non-gun people are okay with what they are doing (or are trying to do). I wonder how they would feel if the 1st amendment was under the microscope...

Most non-gun people are ignorant....[of what it takes to buy a gun etc.]

I always supported 2nd Admendment and very limited regulations...
Bought our first gun last month.. had no clue about the Digital Deep Exam and paper work.
Its not easy to buy a gun.. And these people don't want an ID to vote?
