Thank you sir. I am enjoying it. I do however plan on adding a GP 100 to the collection at some point. It seems really nice and feels great.

Sir,
Congratulations on your new Colt. It looks great! You are gonna need to wear SUNGLASSES to shoot the shiny gun! I have a couple older target Colts and they are great shooters. You might post your gun's serial number like this: 1234xx Several here may have the information (or a link to it) you desire.

The serial number will make it possible to date your gun. Calling Colt (during the week) is also a great way tho get the info.

Here is a link if your gun's s/n falls within the year dates of manufacture.

Thanks bob. I have seen this chart before and my serial number is 5946L which I don't see or missed I guess. Any thoughts ?

I suggest that on Tuesday you call Colt @ 800-962-COLT

Have your s/n and model info ready.
