Default Who uses 357 Magnum as their primary weapon?

It seems to be most of the time 9mm vs 40 vs 45...what happened with good old 357 Magnum..Wondering who here still relies on it as their primary carry/house gun...somehow I'm growing a soft spot for my Ruger GP100 3' with magnum loads as my house/car handgun even though I own 9mm and 40 pistols...

My .357 is a closet gun. You'll never see it until it's too late....

No fumblin', no bumblin' in the dark, just point and shoot.

Default Right here!

I keep my Taurus Model 65, matte stainless, 4 inch barrel with Hogue grip loaded with Golden Sabres on the nightstand. Like has already been said, no fumbling, no bumbling, if I wake up in the middle of the night and the zombies are inside the wire, the first few through the door are gonna HATE it.

Plus, as an added bonus, my girl (who HAS shot before but isn't a regular shooter) can just pick it up and pull the trigger to make "bang" happen if I'm not around and it hits the fan.

My GP160 is my walkin' in the woods gun.

I regularly carry a smith model 60. whether it's my primary or a backup depends on the season.

Oh yeah, I forgot, a S&W Model 60 is my wife's bedside handgun. It's loaded with Federal JHP .38's.

The GP160 is my bedside gun as well as a woods gun.

I have owned a S&W 357 Mag. model 581 since 1987.
Wouldn't sell for anything. I use it for home defense
and when I'm hunting just in case of the unforeseen.

Wouldn't mind buying another .357Mag...
maybe a lite weight compact model, but the funds don't allow.

My main defense handgun is a .357 S&W 686 (4" barrel). I love it, I can fire it accuratly and quickly, I trust it.

I don't always "carry" my .357 Magnum, but it's ALWAYS next to me when I'm in my house. Especially when I'm working in my home office. I wouldn't ever give up my Colt King Cobra for anything. I also have several S&W 629's near by too.
