Default the white rhino

I recently acquired a 357 white rhino ds60, the guy I got it from never fired it because he said it was rare. Now before I take the tag off and go have fun I wanted to know if this is true. Anyone have any knowledge on this legend or was smoke blown where the good Lord split me? It's a beautiful gun don't get me wrong but I'm not looking for an expensive wall ornament.

Depends on your definition of rare. If you mean rare as in not a ton of people have them, then you'd be correct. They are still pretty new to the market. If you mean rare as in limited and hard to find, then absolutely not. They are still making them them.

and they can be found easily enough.

My advice? Go shoot the hell out of it.

Sure is interesting looking. Of the handful I've ever seen in person this is the first in stainless. It might be rare but does that relate to being collectable? I don't know if the Rhino will ever make it past the novelty revolver status. What did you give for it, if you don't mind telling?

Yea the guy said there are a ton of black/blu ones but not very many stainless. I love the way it looks too.
I traded a para expert 1911, think I did pretty good

The blued ones are more common, but the stainless ones are still out there.

Not sure what the para was worth, but if you like it then I say you did good.

Rare and valuable are not necessarily synonymous. Shoot the hell out of it and let us know what you think of it.

Agreed. Guns are for shooting, not hanging on a wall or sitting in a display case.

+1 On shooting it. I'll be awaiting a range report.
