What's wrong with my sp101?
I installed my spring kit & it worked fine until the hammer stuck rearward. I put the old return spring back in & tried it & now the trigger won't come all the way back. There's enough to cycle the cylinder but I can't cock the hammer. What do I do?

Did you make any other alterations at all? We are pretty nearby each other, I'd be happy to take a look at it for you and I'm free all weekend.
It kind of sounds like the mainspring may have popped off somehow, but you would be able to push it back forward manually if that were the case. The trigger wont come back all the way because whatever has your hammer hung up, has it in the position where they are impacting each other. DO NOT force it. That's a good way to invest in new parts.

No modifications here. Thanks for the offer, I'll consider it if it's not fixed by then.

You think there's a chance you could have pulled on the hammer and trigger at the same time? That can hang up a single action, but I'm not sure about a double.

I'm not sure but hopefully it won't do that again. At least now I can enjoy 4 less pounds of spring
