what's a good 38 under $300 used is ok

Are you looking for a range gun or carry gun? You can find many J-frame smiths for carry brand new around $400. You should be able to find them used around $300. Now for a range gun try to find a good deal on a ruger or older smith on a larger frame. Try looking online, there are deals to be found. You just have to do the work and find them.

I bought a J frame 642 for $375 NIB. I would assume you can find a used one for $300 or less. Also the EAA Windicator is less than $300 new.

EAA Windicator is a great gun. Tough to beat for the money. I had one. Sorry I got rid of it.

j frame is what im leaning towords, iv been looking online but im having trouble finding anything under 300 2'' barrel is what i want too
