The only Taurus I own is a Judge, Blued w/4" bbl and 3" cylinder. For those of you that are not familiar with this revolver, it is chambered for 45 colt/410 shotgun. This is the only firearm that I have purchased that was not good out of the box (purchased new). The problem I encountered was in shooting the 410 ammo. After shooting 1 or 2 rounds the cylinder locks up. Having said that, shooting the 45 Colt is a pleasure. The grips are outstanding, it points naturally and the recoil is very subdued. This revolver is very attractive, it just looks bad. I have not yet sent this gun back to Taurus to fix the problem with the 410 ammo so I cannot comment on their CS. For me, I am on the fence as to whether I would lay down my cash for another Taurus. My current thinking is that I would probably go for a Ruger or a S&W rather than the Taurus for a similar gun.
