I can tell it is definitely a Colt. Probably a .38Spl.

It appears to be a Spainish copy of a Colt Detective. It is a very poor picture hard to tell much about it.

OMG! Look at the cylinder release. That is a Colt Detective Special or some other Colt model very similar. S&W? Are you kidding? Where would someone get the notion it is a Spanish copy of anything? The Spanish did not make Colt DA revolver copies that I am aware of.

The Spainish copied Winchester Levers, Colt DA and SAA as well Smith & Wesson products. The cylinder relaese is some what Colt but the upper frame does not appear to be Colt. The front sight is not right. Anyone who has been around firearms very long is familiar with the Spainish copies of the 20th Century.

I am thinking Colt as well, simply because of the cylinder release.
