I have a 3” SP101 in .357. It is a strong, accurate gun. It is also a little heavy and has terrible sights. I had S&W J frame sights installed on mine. While I was waiting I also got a S&W 60Pro. It is also a 3” .357 with J frame sights. It is also a little lighter, but in my state, I can’t yet get a CCW. Perhaps we will pass it next year. We are getting close. I already have a S&W 340Sc as my future carry gun with a 640 as a practice gun.

I like the SP101, although it gets a little jumpy (in my hands) with magnum loads. In single action I could lay down some good groups at 50 feet
