Taurus Tracker 627 .357 mag double action misfires!! Help
I'm having light hits when i use double action but not single can anyone help

I had this problem with my model 65-2 smith and wesson. My problem turned out to be a loose main spring tension screw. It's located on the front strap of the grip frame. If I recall correctly, you should have some one piece rubber grips on your gun, am I correct? You'll want to find out if yours is equipped with this screw, and if so, get those grips off and make sure that thing's tight.
If that isn't the issue, I would lay the blame on the mainspring being weakened, and would need to be replaced, which is also a very simple operation. It's a along the lines of "monkey see, monkey do"

Thanks for the reply . No screw. Tge crappy part is i just got it today. The have a lifetime repair warrenty but I think its crappy to have to pay and wait to send it in for their poor product

Is it brand new or used? And what ammo are you using? Are there any mods to it, such as a bobbed hammer?
