Default Taurus judge, your thoughts? Are they as bad as people make them seem?

I am thinking of getting one, but it seems like noone I know has shot one, yet they have all hear the horror stories about them.

The idea of a .45LC meant for shooting alot of .410 shells is a great idea, although Taurus is Taurus,i'm not gonna say they are bad but,If I wanted a gun like that i'd get the S&W Governor because I fully trust S&W,and the price isn't that much different.

The S & W Governor holds 6 Judge 5. The Governor also shoot 45 ACP the Judge doesn't. Read this month Rifleman magazine it has a review on the Governor.

Ditto, owning both I can say that the Governor is a much better revolver. The design and build quality is vastly superior and being able to chamber 45acp is a real advantage.
