Just quoted you exactly. You said it.

Why do you feel it necessary to list your guns?

Same here, both the LCR and the 642 are hand me down worthy, neither are cheap though.

I've mentioned this before, but...

I've owned two Tauri; a 6" .357 Mag and a .22 LR.

I thankfully don't own either of these guns anymore and I won't willingly be buying any more Taurus products.

I have owned two Taurus handguns, a discontinued .45 revolver which I liked but traded off for something else, doggone it ! Than I have a 9mm Taurus PT99 AF which I absolutely love. It has all the great things a semi auto pistol can have, great sights, a hammer drop when I put it on safety, holds 17 rounds in the mag and one in the tube and as I use 9mm JHPs, I feel that it is adequate protection from all two legged varmints, zombies, thugs, gangbangers and etc.

The problem with Taurus really is with their revolvers. You can build a less expensice auto and it can be an alright gun,but you use cheaper metals on a revolver and you have trouble, too many high stress parts on a revolver,I'll only buy American when it comes to revolvers.

I have a friend who has two Taurus pistols, never had a problem. I plan on buying the 905 9mm so I dont have two different calibers to shoot.

I've had a Taurus and have had no problems with it. That 992 is a mighty sweet gun. I like the extra weight. Go for it. You won't be sorry. Here's a video review of the 992.
