You should be able to find a good Ruger for that price. It would be used.

I have a 605 Poly Pro .357. It costs $350 and is a great little shooter. I wasn't planning on getting a Taurus, but when I held it, it fit my hand like a glove. I was apprehensive, but it has proven to be very reliable. good luck

I've fired the Taurus 66, which is just the 65 but with adjustable sights. I liked it well enough that I've considered trying to buy it off the owner.

I thought it looked great, shot great, and felt great. Admittedly, the grips had been replaced but I think that's a must for a magnum revolver anyway. Plain simple and small wood grips is a great way to wear yourself out at the range.

Can't comment on the others first-hand.

I'd steer clear of the windicator. I have one and its fine as a truck gun with 38's, but 357's don't chamber well and you damn near need a rubber mallet to extract the spent casings. Also, the cylinder release broke after 12 rounds of 357. +1 on picking up a used Ruger for about the same price.

My wife has a EAA Windicator and puts both 38 Sp and 357 mags thru it and its never had a hiccup. Can't go wrong win the Taurus or Rossi.

I heard bad things about the eaa cylinder. Does anyone know anything about that?

I had an EAA Windicator. Great gun. Shot lots of magnums out of it. Have had 2 Taurus guns. Both were defective from the factory. Wont buy another.
